For decades Hollywood stars and royalty have flocked to the beaches of the Costa del Sol to holiday and ‘be seen’. Marbella is the place to spot celebrities and press photographers and paparazzi do just that every summer, hoping to capture a perfect shot which can be sold on to newspapers and magazines around the world.
For one Gibraltarian photographer, it offered the perfect opportunity to make a living from photographing the rich and famous. This week I speak to Juan Carlos Teuma, who nowadays is the Gibraltar Government’s official photographer, about his years on the Costa.
